Yesterday morning I felt impressed to buy a second order of biscuit & gravy to give away. I drove around until I found someone who was hungry and in need. (I was blessed.) Today I stopped for a Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit and McDonalds inadvertently gave me two. I immediately started looking for someone hungry and shortly I saw Gods intended recipient, standing lonely in a doorway of a homeless shelter. I stopped, explained, and offered him breakfast. His hair was silver, long, and dirty. His clothes wear worn, and his mouth was deficient of teeth. His face had the look of caution until his eyes widened with joy. Then, as his eyes filled with tear he looked up, as if to avoid a moistened cheek. He took it and nodded a thanks l. Then he returned to the door of the shelter. In my rear view I watched him cup the biscuit in his aged hands and gently open the package. at that moment I realized that yesterdays exercise, was God preparing me to be a blessing today. God is good! All the time!!! (I was blessed,,, again.)
