HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL PLAYOFFS: Clear Lake (18-5) is the No. 7 seed and Lower Lake i(17-7) is the No. 8 seed in the North Coast Section Division IV softball playoff field. Both teams will host first-round games. Clear Lake hosts No. 10 seed Justin-Siena (8-14) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. while Lower Lake hosts No. 9 Berean Christian of Walnut Creek on Tuesday at 4 p.m. Berean Christian is 11-9 overall. Middletown (12-8) also made the field and is the No. 12 seed. The Mustangs play No. 5 Moreau Catholic (12-6) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. In Division V, Upper Lake (8-10) is the No. 13 seed out of 13 teams. The Cougars plays at No. 4 Valley Christian (10-6) on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
