Had a nice breakfast at the Stonecroft Country Inn with Aunt Fran, Stuart & the Zimmermans (the Mrs went to Yale w/ Aunt Fran) & another lady classmate of her s whose name I forget. Then we drove to Auburn looking for strap webbing & the $1.99 store was closed. We got to Shrewsbury to JoAnne’s & got that & plastic canvas (I have a book cover on order from a friend). We got stuff into the apt, I took a nap & Diane relaxed, & we had an awesome drum lesson in Oxford with the Djembeliyas under Matt Shreiner’s tutelage. Then we got groceries & came home. I made a smoothie with silken tofu, a collard green leaf, baby spinach, 2 carrots, an apple, a Clementine & almond/coconut milk for the two of us. Then I made rice & beans with crushed tomatoes in it, Vidalia onions, cumin, garlic powder, & chili powder. I also chopped up a fresh salad that included diced zuke & yellow squashes, roasted salted peanuts & alfalfa sprouts. Got all but one pan done in the sink too, no more dirty dishes! Now I get to nibble & kibbitz with youze peeps!
