Yesterday morning, I lost my favorite person in the world, my gramps, although he was more like a father to me. Without his encouragement, love, and guidance, I wouldnt be who I am today. It was so sudden and unexpected that I still cant believe it. No words can describe how I feel without him. I still feel like I can just run into his arms and he can tell me everything is going to be ok, but I cant. His body looked nothing like him without his warm spirit inside. I just want to wake up and all of this be a bad dream. I am thankful he did not suffer but it was still too soon. The world is a darker place without him, but I will carry his spirit within me and so will Gavin. I love you ba, RIP and watch over us from heaven.
