Yesterday my mom passed away from Breast Cancer. She was a devoted artist, mother, served on the School Boards of Jenkintown School District and Eastern Center for Arts and Technology, and was a member of All Hallows Church, Wyncote. She recently served as Director of the Women’s Board of PAFA. she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010, her experience inspired her recent art work. Her service will be on Saturday June 29, at 11 A.M., St. Martins-in-the-Fields (Chestnut Hill), 8000 St Martins Lane, Philadelphia, PA. With a reception following at the Philadelphia Cricket Club next door. (There is no viewing.) In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Breathing Room Foundation, P.O. Box 287, Jenkintown, PA 19046. Checks should be made to the Breathing Room Foundation and please note that is in Memory of Patty Castner. Please provide them with a return address.
