Yesterday our Association paid our respects to one of our members. The following words are taken from some of our members. “The world lost a great man, friend, father, husband, mentor, and co-worker today. I as well as others are overcome with sadness, grief, and anger as a result of your passing. The world will definitely be a different place without you and not a day will go by that will not remind me of something you said or did. We will take the watch from here brother and I will know that you are always looking over our shoulders while being the wolfhunters in society. Till we meet again...” Mike Rasmussen “Today we laid to rest a brother in blue. In the rain. The Lord is waging a war against evil. In every war you need the best warriors. When looking for those people he looks to earth where a few stand out. Most of those people are in America. When looking for the best of the best, naturally they are in Iowa. And when narrowing it down even further you look at the law enforcement in Black Hawk County. When looking for that one guy, the guy that will make all the difference in your war on evil you look at Monty Frana. We let Monty go today to be with the Lord. To fulfill that purpose which He has given to him. The Lord knows how valuable and loved Monty was to all of us and Im sure the Lord was sorry so He wept tears today to let us know. It really meant a lot to his wife, his children, the rest of his family and our department to see and feel all of this support.
