Yesterday our Futebol Aberto open football sessions in Akalla, Sweden, started again after the summer holidays - great to have the girls back and see their love of the game! From now on the open sessions will be held by our new FDF coach Irónia together with Parsian IF, and were sure that it will be a great combo. However the long awaited start was shadowed by one of our girls mothers decision that she no longer can play (since football is only for boys) and by another girls panic attack during the session. These shadows only make the rest of it more beautiful, and meaningful, giving us even more incentives to promote girls health - physical, psychological and emotional - and to promote good role models that our girls can get the support they need from. We are going to do everything we can to keep both girls in our sessions to enable them to grow and reach their dreams. Força!
