Yesterday, the Dancing with the Turlock Stars was amazing and glad its over!! I didnt win any awards but I won, many great memories and best of all I became friends with some amazing people, who just like myself volunteered their time and talents to rehearse once or twice a week and perform for our community with an attendance crowd of 1000 + people! All my fellow dancers rocked and I loved watching everyone perform and glad no one slipped or fell and we all simply had fun and gave each other support! It was lots of hard work and dedication for us all to work hard to give our Turlock community an amazing show that was streamed live for people to see! We raised more money than we anticipated and I was so happy to have represented Alegria Ballroom Dance Academy , where I had the pleasure of rehearsing, and getting to know great and talented people, such as, Gabrielle Forrest, Gary Soiseth, Xavier Huerta, Yvonne Geiger, Fabian De Leon, & Audrey Gonzales Cray. You guys, got great scores and was happy you got high scores and awards!! So I loved getting to know my fellow dancers and seeing how well we all got along and supported one another! My back is hurting lol but I would do this over in a heartbeat because the time we all spend to make new friends and to know one another during rehearsals or seeing each other around town was priceless. Helping make a difference to those less fortunate through the Salvation Army was the best gift and award I can take from all this and the experience was incredible. I love my new friends, Dancing with the Turlock Stars Dancers!! You all rocked and I loved to see all the different costumes and being part of this First Annual event! Special thanks to my amazing dance partner, who I was privileged to be dancing with Debi Shrum! We survived and had fun lol and I want to also thank my choreographer, Yessyzumba Instructor , who helped me out with the dance, Hound Dog, that made our song come to life! Much love to everyone involved and thank you, Kristin Bettencourt for giving me the opportunity to be part of this. Now we can all breath and rest and go back to our normal routines lol
