Yesterday the Ride took part in CYCLOTHON, a ride for Gender Equality, an event to celebrate the International Day for Female Child in New Delhi. This unique event was organised by the Beti Zindabad Campaign of Action Aid India. Around 5oo members of various cycling clubs from National Capital region of Delhi, independent cyclists and women and child rights activists began the ride from historic Ramlila Maidan and reached to Central Park, Connaught Place. Later, some beautiful and motivational cultural performance were done by citys prominent culttural groups Majlis Mystic, Pardarshita, Education Tree and few others followed by a collective pledge of respecting gender equality and its awareness. Ride for Gender Freedom wishes all the best to the campaign and makes an appeal to common public to join the campaign of Gender Freedom and Equality! Beti Zindabad!
