Yesterday the new Mr and Mrs Marsham were delivered to us straight from completing their vows at Framlingham Pigot Church in a beautiful vintage car courtesy of Vintage Occasions cars. While Sophie enjoyed a nice glass of Pimm’s, Chris dived straight into the terrace cooler which had been filled with bottled beers to toast his new wife. A selection of canapés including the ever popular tempura king prawns with a sweet chilli dip were offered to guests on the lawns in between posing for photographs and enjoying a kick about. One of Chris’ four best men was on hand to help guide guests to the seating plan that featured Sophie and Chris’ other love: ‘Only Fools and Horses’, to find their seats in the Barn for the wedding breakfast. Once they had found the table named after the specific episode, guests admired the gorgeous centrepiece arrangements provided by The Little Flower Shop and opened their envelopes to try their luck at the scratch card favours. Chris and Sophie are very fond of their little baby – Missy the Dog so the Best Men put together an awesome projector slideshow of the most embarrassing clips and photos of Chris that they could find (including THAT tattoo from his stag do!) and followed it with a message and guest appearance from a 6ft Missy lookalike. After speeches were complete, the chosen few were gathered together to be invited into the kitchen to report to Chef for carving duties and were welcomed back to their tables with hungry applause. Once beautifully carved (for the most part) roast beef with all the trimmings had been enjoyed, there were ice creams on the terrace with flavours including coconut, lemon meringue and pistachio. Sophie was absolutely radiant in her fabulous dress and the photographer couldn’t resist stealing her away again for more photographs with her gorgeous Bridesmaids in their long Grecian dusky grey gowns. As guests finished their ice creams on the terrace there was a buzz in the Barn as Fun Casino Events began dealing black jack and spinning the roulette wheel for Sophie and Chris’ friends and family to try their luck. After guests enjoyed a bacon roll to prepare them for the party, the very handsome couple were admired by all as they cut into the beautifully decorated cake from Shortcakes with its lace appliques and delicate pink sugar flowers. With The Collective on stage and ready to rock, the only thing left to do was party! We wish Sophie and Chris every happiness and hope that you continue to have as much fun as you did on your wedding day.
