Yesterday, things did not start off as planned for Selena and I. I was helping Selenas nurse transfer her out of bed, when I noticed that her leg was bleeding. She had a subcutaneous port placed in her leg at the hospital for us to give her Lovenox injections. Well, the port went bad sometime in the night, and she started to bleed from it. I went ahead and pulled the port out hoping the bleeding would stop, but 10 minutes later it was still bleeding. It took about 15 minutes for the bleeding to come to a stop, and then it would bleed lightly on and off throughout the day. Now, we have to give her the shots in her belly from now until the 11th =( We did get her out for a walk yesterday while the weather was beautiful, and she got to see some of her friends. She had a great day today, and her pain has still been very minimal. My girl is amazing, she makes me strong when I am weak =)
