Yesterday was Day1 and what a perfect/amazing day it was! - TopicsExpress

Yesterday was Day1 and what a perfect/amazing day it was! Started off with a wander to Downtown Disney - was worried what to expect with the building work going on, however I didnt find this a problem. The atmosphere was electric with it being Halloween! After being virtually dragged out of the world of Disney (where I could have easily spent my 2 week budget in 5 minutes) it was off to T-Rex for lunch. Wow is my response to this, the food was gorgeous! Even my hard to please Mother couldnt fault it! Our server couldnt have been more helpful especially when explaining the DDP an our choices. We will definitely be back there! Next stop was Magic Kingdom ready for MNSSHP! Again the atmosphere was electric, the costumes where all fantastic! Had a problem with by magic band at the entrance, mum an dads where fine but mine wasnt showing any of our extra tickets, FPs or memory maker, the Cast members where brilliant in resolving this though and we where soon heading into Main Street to see the castle which always makes my heart jump with excitement! I wasnt disappointed... I had never seen so many people in my whole life - it was awesome!! 1st up was a wander round the Main Street Shops! Again in my head I had spent up within minutes! Next was our FP for haunted mansion! Every ride was walk on virtually which surprised me with the crowds! I asked a cast member who said park was definitely set to reach capacity! Soon it was time for the party to start so we watched the stage show of the villains taking over the castle then headed for a spot on Main Street (as advised by a lovely New Yorker) The next few hours where breath taking! The Boo to you parade was excellent an really worth watching! But the Hallowishes that followed has to be the most amazing thing Ive ever seen in my life! The 3 of us left the park in the crowds completely gobsmacked - with by dad repeatedly saying that all the money the trip had cost was worth it just for those few hours! I have to agree! I was told America did Halloween on a massive scale nothing prepared me for how amazing it was! I urge anyone coming here to try Halloween at least once in their life! Its truly magical! It was back to Saratoga then for a well deserved sit down and drink, followed by a jacuzzi and Bed! :) Such a perfect day 1! Some photos for you to enjoy! :)
