Yesterday was a very special day for Ms. Hope Todd ... She turned 18 :-) Hope you have been such a blessing to our family. Never a dull moment with you around. You are a little ball of energy ( after 10 am) and keep us laughing. Hope always looks for the best in people. When others label a person as worthless, Hope see them as worth her time. When others write them off Hope offers to help them. It is evident by what Hope wants to do with her life. Here are just a few of the things she would like to do. She wants to do some type of jail or prison ministry. Specifically working with those who have children. Her desire is to change their lives so they can be the parents God intended them to be. It takes a special person to reach someone in this situation. Hope you are that special person never give up on your dreams. She has also said she would like to be a nurse. I cant think of a better person for that position... Another job she thinks she would love to do is own/operate a flower-gift shop. When I asked her why her reply was simple flowers make people happy She and McKala have a plan to open a flower-gift shop/coffee shop. They want to highlight Divine Care children in their shop. Children from Uganda who need to be sponsored. Children without people that care become lost and struggle just to survive.. The plan is to serve coffee from Uganda and sell crafts made by women there trying to support their families. What a great idea inspired by God! Speaking of Uganda, Hope has been such a blessing with our little Ugandan.. She loves him as much as he loves her and Collin loves him some ope Are you seeing a pattern here. Hope is a beautiful young lady whos hearts desire is to help others. She always puts herself last and others first. Hope I am so sorry I did not post this yesterday on your real birthday but I want you to know how much you mean to our family we love you and pray for you just as we do our other children. We are so happy God put you in our lives Thank you for being McKalas best friend and a part of our family. We love you girl please continue to be a light in the dark and shine so bright others are drawn to Christ through you. Hope I pray that you will always look for opportunities from God and know that when God is driving you never have to worry about where He takes you. Continue to put your trust in Him and He will use you in a mighty way. Remember Hope God uses Ordinary People to do Extraordinary things ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY !
