Yesterday was an experience worth remembering...One word that I can describe to the spirit of the Filipino faithful is ENDURANCE...Walang malakas na ulan ang hahadlang sa FAITH ng mga Filipino & Im proud I was part of it. I survive the 6 million crowd that gather in Luneta for the concluding mass of our beloved Pope Francis. 2am gising na ko & because of the traffic in sta. mesa we arrive in luneta @ 5am, We have to wait for 2 hours for the gate to open & I am in the middle of the crowd (talagang sisksikan) Thank GOD @ around 8am we already find the tent # 15 the location of the Lay Minister who will give communion. Gutom, Pagod, walang tulog, maghapong basa sa ulan at masasakit na ang paa at katawan sa maghapon ay kayang tiisin lahat for the love of service, for the love of Pope Francis & for the love of JESUS. Lalo na po ng makita muli namin si Pope Francis na dumaan sa aming harapan I cant explain the feeling. In my 8 years as a lay Minister, Its my 1st time to communion at least 500 faithful in the middle of a rain.Thank you to my assigned Usher who provided me with umbrella. And to cap the experience we have to walk from Luneta to San Andres because ang hirap ng transportation. I got home at around 9pm in the evening.Thank you LORD hindi nyo po kami pinabayaan.
