Yesterday was great, after school you and your buddies all grabbed your skates and hockey sticks then headed down to the lake and had a great game. About fifteen other kids showed up and we all had a great time. The score ended up 35 to 33, it probably would of been higher but the sun went down and we had to go home for dinner and do our homework. You woke up this morning a little sore and sporting a few new bruises from the game yesterday, you had forgotten how hard the ice is. After you get ready for school, youre running a little late since you spend a little extra time in the shower letting the warm water sooth your sore muscles. But before you head out to catch the bus, you sit down with your mom, shes been sitting there patiently waiting for you to get ready and open up to todays window and this winter theme starts playing.
