Yesterday was long and exhausting! I feel like a pin cushion! :) My doctor excitedly proclaimed: Prayers and chemo are working. One tumor is basically gone, the cluster from my previous scan is down by half. My CA125, although still high, is down from 612 to 327. I will still have surgery and Im just waiting on the hospital to call with the day and time. My surgery will involve removing uterus, tumors from peritoneal lining, ab muscle, and possibly some left hip connective tissue, they will be repairing the bladder, removing omentum, and then they will drop a nuclear bomb inside me repeatedly for 48 hours. I wont be allowed visitors at any time until I leave the hospital. They plan on leaving radiation seeds in my body at the tumor sites. I cant be around children under 5 for 3 days and under 2 for 10 days. I may set off alarms everywhere I go for a few years as well. That should be fun. Im so tired. I dont think I have it in me to go through this again. Im quite the baby. Im just waiting for that call where they say...JUST KIDDING! YOURE FINE!! LOL..I have so much to be thankful for...grandbabies, family and friends that love me and a heavenly father that gives me Grace and mercy everyday.
