Yesterday was one of the saddest days. Our 15 year old Buddy had to leave us. A month ago he could not stand and was rushed to our Vet who gave him a miracle vaccination and sent him home with pills. It worked for a month. During that time period he just started to break down. There were a few good days along with the bad. I carried him outside and carried him inside. Anything he ate came right back up. We made him comfortable but he was miserable. He started to wander and would not respond to us calling his name. Even eye contact did not work. Another trip to Buddys vet who said his gums were white and he was skinny under that beautiful coat. It was the hardest thing that my daughter had to do. We have many good memories. Buddy was the last of the Sheltie Team as we called Sarah and him. We have the comfort of knowing he is running and playing with his son Murphy and his wife Lassie and fiend Bonnie Blu Butler over the Rainbow Bridge. The house is not the same here with you gone Buddy Boy. We miss you beyond words.
