Yesterday was probably the worst day of my life.. When my son belted out a cry, that I had never heard before, all I could feel was pain for him... I spent 12 hours bringing him into this world and didnt feel that much pain.. I sat here helpless, not knowing what was wrong with him, and the realization that he could pass at any time. I think that is what was eating me up inside... Sitting here with my baby, I had to keep strong and not show him that I was hurting, because I didnt want him scared.. As a mother, I think this is our duty. We are supposed to protect our babies and they should never feel scared. Oakley is often called Oak Tree.. Because hes a very strong boy. And he showed me this, all over again yesterday.. In some way, I think he had the same mentality as I did. After we got to the hospital, I think he was trying not to show his pain so much, so that I wouldnt be scared.. This confirms, that he is very strong minded also. Im very blessed to have such a great little boy in my life. And I know that our bond has gotten stronger because of this experience. I want to thank Tammy Mercer for being such a wonderful person, and coming straight up here with me. It means alot. William D. Palmer II, thank you so much for bringing me lunch yesterday and fixing my head light.. :) Russell Wofford, thank you for sitting with Oakley long enough for me to get some water.. Lol 4 hours is too long to wait to have a drink.. Thanks to the Best Uncle ever, Pike Rummel.. Oakley really enjoyed that vanilla shake at 11 last night.. He is forever grateful. He asked if you were coming, every 5 minutes until you got here.. Lol To Esther Brown, you will always be my mom and I appreciate you sitting with me for hours and Praying... TJ Brown, I will say, that my kiddos have the best dad ever and Im glad that we work so well together, for our children!! To everyone who called or wrote on here, Thank you so much!!! Im so blessed to have the bestest friends and family in the world!! Oakley says Thank you also. We love you all ....
