Yesterday was such a rewarding day! First it was the retirement celebration for Dr. Lula S. Sawyer, PH.D., who has served in multiple roles at NSU, for 20 years and I got to know her for the role she played as the Project Coordinator for campus domestic violence. Every since I met her she has always believed in me, and gave me advice. Dr. Lula was so surprised. Her look when she walked in the room was priceless. Awesome lady, awesome spirit. Thank you Vanessa Jenkins I had a great time yesterday. Then I was asked to do a domestic violence resource table last night at Floria Meredith play called The Secret She Never Told. The play was about domestic violence and they did an excellent job highlighting facts and bringing awareness to it. I was truly impressed. The play was also Florias story. Great play Floria! What a truly blessed day it was.
