Yesterday was such a wonderful day on the boat, but the adventures are lasting a bit more than anyone hoped. I ended the day in ER, due to (what seemed like) a small cut on my foot. I needed seven stitches, scared the ER doctor (a very hard thing to do) because my pulse dropped to 20 very quickly (most people dont do that with a foot laceration), and need to see a podiatrist because a tendon was severed. I am so impressed by the ER people, and especially the nurse who came flying in when the doctor freaked out and saved the day! (Made me think very highly once again of my daughter-in-law Jessalyn Vander Hulst!)
