Yesterday was the 17th day of our wait on him... And it was a time to reflect and remind ourselves of the essence of the 40 days of glory, so that it doesnt just become a routine and we loose focus... The summary of the explanations were as follows : 1) It is the fast the Lord has chosen to do specific interventions in our lives, families, businesses, church and the nation.. Isaiah 58v6-9.. And He has instructed us all to corporately wait on Him... 2) It is a time of Divine encounters, interruptions, interventions and great deliverances , that as we follow daily He will choose the what and when before He sends us to fulfill our Appointed destiny Exodus 3v1-11..Selah.. 3) It is a time to set our hearts to understand and to humble ourselves before him.. Daniel 10v12,while He gives us angelic visitations to enter into areas of our lives and remove who or what is hindering or opposing us in the spirit, that ordinarily we cant remove by ourselves...Daniel 10v1,13-14, Zach 3v1-5..Whilst giving us understanding. This alongside many other prophetic utterances and declarations were made on the fast, which highlights the importance of not just fasting because it is a corporate fast, but to set our hearts to understand & humble ourselves before him to work in us.. regardless of the distractions, confusions and challenges of life..
