Yesterday was the end of my six week recovery time. Amazing how its all healing. This is the end of my lovely hernia and related complications journey too. So you can imagine how happy I am about that! In between healings I got stuff done lived life etc but of course many things were affected too so it will be nice to get back to stuff that was set aside while this went on. I hope everybody has good shows events parties and events coming up. Im not going to risk anything before this Iowa trip so I have to send good wishes. Im still healing I still feel stuff going on inside but by the time Oscar and I roll out mid-Sept I hope to be even further along toward 100% I hope Oscar will also be healed and one day walk again. His participation in this study is not just for dogs but also a continuation of the work to find a cure for certain types of paralysis in humans. To have Oscar be a part of this is really amazing. Its Hope for all for the future when, like with my hernia troubles, spinal cord damage will heal over time with the right treatment. Two dogs from his fan page will be there the same week so it will be a pup party Im sure Have a great holiday weekend have fun and stay safe everybody !
