Yesterday we made a visit to this village in Kubu Karangasem, Bali. Despite the rapid development in Bali on tourism sector, still many Balinese live in a very poor condition. Mr. Ketuts Is one of them in Kubu Village –Karangasem. Their broken wooden and old bricked house lived by 11 family members, all of them live in 2 small rooms. Unfortunately the rain season has start now, on the raining night they have to move to the kitchen and sleeping there. Their room’s roofs are full of holes, broken tiles, forced the room wet of rain water. Clear water also a big issue here, the rivers were drought every summer so they need to buy water for their daily use. They have a big concrete container which they use to collect the rain water, but when I have a look it just broke my feeling, all they have is this dirty water which I assumed less than 20 small buckets. Volume of waters which still less to fill your bath tub, but enough for them to survive the next week. Veranda Cafe and Adhi Darma Cargo - International Freight Forwarding will held this public charity event, planning to drive two trucks to this undeveloped village and bring all the things that collected for this donation. What they need are home/kitchen utilities, clothes (new or proper to use), medicines, toys/dolls, school’s utilities, and some building materials also needed. NO CASH NEEDED. How to donate?
