Yesterday we read that God is our refuge and strength therefore we should not live in fear. Today’s reading from Psalm 46 reminds us that God is always with us in verses 7 and 11. It is good to know that God the father is not like many parents that we see in our world today. God the Father is always present and prepared to care for the needs of His children. God the Father never moves away from us. When we are not experiencing His presence in our life it’s because we have moved away from Him. Verse 10 reminds us that we need to “be still and know” that He is God when we begin to experience difficult situations in life. I pray that we are living in the light today by abiding in Christ and living in the fullness of the Holy Spirit of God. May God the Father bless us today through the reading of His word. Selah 8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.
