Yesterday while out driving around with Ru, we came to a long line of cars in the turn lane. It was several seconds before the first car turned. I said to myself, Drag Butt! I was frustrated. Safety is a good reason to check before proceeding into a turn, but I was allowing MY feelings to overshadow it. Right after those whispered words came out of my mouth, the Lord convicted me. To the offending driver I spoke forgiveness & to the Lord, I asked His forgiveness. How many times during the rush through our days do we encounter little offenses that turn us into Attitude monsters? Instead of staying in control, it is so easy to give in to our flesh. This is what can easily happen when allow the Kingdom of I to come to the front of our minds. We should constantly remind ourselves of just how Blessed we are. We live in THE BLESSING. When we do, we should not allow anything to pull us out. We are too Blessed to be Distressed!!!!.
