Yesterdays catch at portland. It was an epic battle i caught him and he caught me. With my vast knowledge of martail arts and streetfighting learned from youtube i donked him on the head with my torch. The beast was stunned for just a moment, he relaxed his finger crushing death grip and i slipped his grasp. Obviously seeing i had come tooled up he concentrated his efforts on the torch gripping it securely with one claw while attacking unmercifully with the other. I could tell by the confidence in this killer this was not his first dance. His determination to take control of the weapon was his downfall, as i had secured it to my wrist with a lanyard to prevent it being taken from me and used against me (thats a differend story bloody spider crabs) while the battle raged neither of us giving any ground or quarter or showing weakness in our technique, i began to slowly surface. What the crab had not realised was i had some heavy weight back up at the surface in the form of Jeremy Kuo, Philip Snowdon and Ross Jaime many thanks to Jeremy who i think captured some of the fight pics and to Philip for opening the catch bag and espically to Ross who found said catch bag when i dropped it later in the day. I think the crab picked the clip attaching it to my float. So train hard fight easy my spero friends. Dive safe.
