Yesterdays verse of the day changed my plans; todays verse will set the tone for getting caught up. Sunday: Six days are set aside for work, but on the Sabbath day you must rest, even during the seasons of plowing and harvest. (Exodus 34:21) Mondays: Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat well, drink a good glass of wine, and enjoy their work -- whatever they do under the sun -- for however long God lets them live. (Ecclesiastes 5:18) Works Gods way, then rest like God. A good start on the abundant life.
