I have a perspective on the city and personal contacts that these outside productions want easily but dont want to pay for? Dear Mr Porché West I am writing from London regarding a landmark documentary series we are making for the Travel Channel about great cities of the world: New Orleans, San Fran, Rome, Paris, London and New York. We are looking to tell a rich and evocative history of each city through contemporary experiences. The best places to go, see, eat, drink, learn that will really open up the heritage of the city to you. I have been looking at your photographs and am completely blown away by how beautiful they are and what you capture about the city. You portray an amazing texture of the city through its people – which is exactly how I want to illustrate the city. As one that has been moulded by its people and continues to evolve with the enthusiasm and diversity of the community. My research is leading me to talk to as many people as possible and I just wanted to drop you a line as it would be great to know if you have any interest in being part of the project.
