Yet again I’ve had a number of reports that individuals are driving vehicles with children in them who are not in child seats and strapped in. What is more worrying is cases of small children sat on the lap of another passenger or even worse sat on the drivers lap. This is to cease with immediate effect, by doing this you are breaking UK and Brunei law. The RMP det has been tasked to stop individuals who are not are not using the correct restraints in vehicles and produce a report with the details to Chain of Command. I must remind you that dependants are subject to Military Law whilst serving in Brunei. The Chain of Command will take action against anybody who is reported. This is a disaster waiting to happen. Ensue that everybody in your vehicle is correctly seated in the correct type of seat and seat belts are worn at all times. Thanks Maj Ed Bell | SO2 G1 Welfare/SSO
