Yet another night without sleep. Back hurts and wishing these holidays were over. 2014 has been a really crappy year and the worst being the loss of my mom and the loss of my cousins husband. I wish my brother, sister and I lived closer to one another. Too much time goes by without us seeing each other. I guess phones, computers and Skype help but nothing beats us being together in the same room thankful that we are close no matter the physical that exist between us. Sad that my dad is now alone but grateful that we keep in touch with him and hoping he finds peace and happiness after my moms death. Even with such a bad year behind me, Im thankful for my family. My husband whom I love more than life itself. My son whom I adore and would walk through fire for him. My brother and sister....two touch stones I never thought Id need as much as I need them now and until I take my last breath. My nieces, Angie Nenni, Julie Nenni, Kailey OConnell....three beautiful girls I adore and love immensely. Two God Daughters, Trisha Cobey and Jillian Ludvick....two people I love and although not blood relative, are considered nieces and family in my book. My mother-in-law....a person who looked past my wrongs of the past, loved and welcomed me anyway. My dad...someone who I never had a good relationship with and all transgressions between he and I have been forgiven which gave me the opportunity to love and care for him. I lost my mom, I miss her everyday but Ill always love her and hold all of our good memories in my heart till we meet again. Even with everything I have lost this year, I still have family I love, friends I love and a strong faith in God. So with that said....let us all make the year 2015 a good year.
