Yet another piece of evidence to prove that Stone and Parker know exactly what theyre on about. This weeks episode of South Park featured the Emo/Goth kids again. They chose to have Henrietta listening to Sunny Day Real Estate to denote her transformation into an Emo kid. Im so happy that this was their choice, as they could have gone with any number of terrible Emo bands to make this scene, but they actually went to the roots and found a truly remarkable and innovative band who were well ahead of their time and practically invented a genre. Had this have been an episode of The Simpsons or Family Guy, Lisa or Meg (respectively) would no doubt have been caught out listening to something shit like My Chemical Romance or All Time Low, demonstrating yet again the tardiness of their writers conviction to topical research. South Park will always be number one.
