Yet another short film I found for your viewing pleasure. The premise,from what I could gather without doing any deeper digging and no being able to give the show my undivided attention, is that of a scientist who seems to be trapped between dimensions for unknown reasons, presumably said reason being an experiment gone awry. Concerned scientist appears to be using a trans-dimensional communicator to contact anyone who can pick up the frequency. When he contacts the viewer he uses some sort of device to take his thoughts and memories and convert it to a viewable format. The device appears to be the directors way of stringing together what Im assuming to be unrelated short films into a single universe. The first episode follows an inventor whose wife had fallen ill and passed away. Unable to cope with the loss he sets out to create a clockwork doll in her image following the archetype of the song Herr Drosselmeyers Doll and the operatic piece Dolls of New Albion. Just like in the aforementioned works the inventor soon realizes that playing God never yields the results one expects. The series only has one episode out so far however Im hoping if he garners enough attention he will find the funding to make this a long running thing. Its a very impressive work for being an independent project and I look forwards to future episodes from the director.
