Yet another stupid Facebook rumor going about which is completed crap! This rumor says that if you magically post a comment on Facebook, they are going to stop using youre data! Or if they dont use your data you are legally protected by it. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! YOU signed up to Facebook and YOU accepted their terms! Nowhere within the terms do they say that they will publicly use your data. It states that by the time information is used from you, it is reduced down to not relating to you in no shape or form. This is then statistical data that they use to carry out all the functionality of Facebook, or third party members. Find you games, ads, etc... Which you signed up to since Facebook has been around! No where does it say that they own your pictures. You have the option to delete them! While you are allowing us to use the information we receive about you, you always own all of your information. Your trust is important to us, which is why we dont share information we receive about you with others unless we have: received your permission; given you notice, such as by telling you about it in this policy; or removed your name and any other personally identifying information from it. Facebook has made things so much easier sharing information privately with friends or publicly with the site. Its not hard to set your privacy settings to private, they are like that by default!
