You Are Accountable “It is written: As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God. So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.” Romans 14:11-12 God tells us in the above scripture, that each one of us will be held accountable to God, for all our actions and deeds today. It is extremely important that you know what the commands of God are, and what he expects out of you, before you begin your day. Psalm 25:4 says “Show me your way, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” You will be judged by God, on the way you handle and conduct your life in the hours ahead, and deal with the people you meet. Make sure you put your best foot forward in all your encounters with others, have your attitude right, and be fair in all you do. Make sure you start your day with the expectation that God will lead you and guide you, in making all the decisions that you will make, and that they will be ones that will have his blessing. Psalm 25:9 says “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” He promises that he will let you prosper in everything you do, if you follow his commands, and live your life in a way that will be a blessing to him. So live your life today, with the understanding that God is watching you, and will judge you as to how well you have carried out his will. Make this a day that both you and God will be proud of, and one that will pass God’s judgment, and his approval. My Daily Devotional Volume One January 9 (via Robert Brock)
