Safe Families for Children Information Meeting Sunday, November 23rd The Idlewild Church at Odessa 1234 Gunn Highway, Odessa, FL 33556 Time: 12:45 PM-after church! Safe Families for Children is a community of Christians who provide a safe home for children whose family is in crisis. We reach out to these families in order to divert the need for foster care. While the children are in our care, we share the love of Jesus to both the children and the parents, inviting them to come to Jesus too. Whether that crisis is homelessness, unemployment, addiction, incarceration, or something else, Safe Families for Children is preventative alternative to foster care. This is an informal meeting for anyone who would like more information. Applications will be available for those who would like to become a host family.
