You Is Killing You Galatians 6:7-8 (AMP) - Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. You will reap what you sow. Its not a cute saying, an old wives tale, or an old adage. Its the Word of God and it is a law that is both true in the natural and supernatural. Follow me here. If you plant (sow) tomato seeds this summer you are guaranteed you will grow tomatoes. You wont grow (reap) corn. Thats a God created agricultural law. In your life today if you plant (sow) discord and drama, you will not grow (reap) happiness and peace. You will reap what you sow. Discord and drama. Those are two simple examples from the natural and the supernatural. If you jump off your roof you will hit the ground. Hard. Thats a result of the God created natural law of gravity. If you simply believe Jesus for something you need, you will receive it. Thats the result of the supernatural law of faith. See? There are fail safe and fool proof laws of God that govern the natural and the supernatural. The physical and the spiritual. They cannot fail. You inherently know that the sun will rise each day in the east and set in the west. Not going to change. Its according to Gods design. The worlds best gamblers are not going to bet against that event tomorrow morning. Why not? Because they know they will lose. Imagine being that confident in Gods spiritual and supernatural laws? How about the supernatural spiritual Law of Contact and Transmission? You get sick. I believe you will get well. I lay my hands (contact) on you. You get well (transmission). Why would you not question one law (usually the physical natural law), but disbelieve the other (usually the spiritual supernatural law)? They both are equally Gods provision. They are both equally incapable of failing. The spiritual supernatural laws need to be activated in the spirit by people who have been brought into the supernatural realm. Prior to being born-again you lived NATURALLY under natural physical laws. You are governed by them whether you like it or not. They work in and around you, and for or against you accordingly. So do spiritual supernatural laws. You have to decide if you will work with them on Gods side or against Him. Actually, before you meet Jesus you are automatically against God by default. You have chosen to live in the flesh (natural), so your spiritual side suffers until you decide to activate it positively (by choosing Jesus and becoming born-again). See...thats what born again means. You were born already in the flesh and have been living according to the laws of the natural, flesh. Jesus says we need to be born again (John 3). This means the spiritual side needs to be birthed, awakened, a literal recreation of your person (1 Cor. 5:17). This is pretty much all nonsense to those who are stuck in the natural flesh and blood existence. Youre hungry, you eat. Youre tired, you sleep...etc. You can live your whole life that way and miss the entire spiritual supernatural life. Its likened by the bible as being...dead. Not just now, but FOREVER. The negative side of the supernatural life is eternally spiritually dead. The positive side is eternally spiritually alive in Christ NOW and FOREVER! Nonsense you say? If so, you are not alone. Many dont believe a word of it. Some think I am a fanatic who has drunk too much religious Kool-Aid. In fact, the bible actually addresses that very issue. 1 Corinthians 1:18 (AMP) - For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God. For many, maybe even most, what I spend my life preaching and teaching about is utter nonsense, absurdity, foolishness, and folly. Certainly nothing to waste a lifetime on... ...unless...its real. Then it becomes THE most important news in the world. The everlasting testing of the facts remain true and intact. You will never know unless you test drive it. See...I already know the other side of the natural physical side of living (if you think THATS really living). Ive done that for 33 years. I was fully immersed in the culture of death (its what it really is) complete with the T-shirts and coffee mugs. I also know the alternative and have been fully immersed in that the last 28 years. Usually out of me and one other contrary person, I am the only one who is qualified to comment on both. I have literally lived two lives. In fact almost 50-50. Half my life spiritually dead, half my life spiritually alive. 60 years is a lot of days. When its down to the brass tacks, yes, I qualify as an expert on the two. This little blurb either excites you with great encouragement or makes you withdraw further into your flesh. Maybe it will make you angry and upset that I speak so harshly of the natural life. I think thats better than nothing. Get mad. Yell at God. Shake your fist. If you can get that mad at Something or Someone you claim not to believe in...well...He might read that as a cry for help and start meddlin in ya. You might never think the same again. Oops.
