As a previous passive supporter of SunRail, I took my very first ride yesterday afternoon to grab lunch in DT Winter Park. Just a few observations .. 1. Comfortable ride. 2. Just enough seats. Need to keep an eye on this as it could change quickly. 3. Schedule is nowhere near convenient. Should be every 45 mins to 1 hour max. 4. Doesnt operate late enough and no weekend schedule, yet. 5. Other than Lake Mary as my starting point, really only 2 stops have any interest for me. DT Winter Park and Church Street. 6. Quick .. was impressed on how fast we arrived. I understand its meant to be commuter rail however, in order to get someone like me interested in using and investing in, items 3 and 4 need to be significantly improved. In all actuality thats why its taken me this long to try it.
