You Want to Play Games, We Can Play Games The Pentagon and the State Department talked out of both sides of their mouth, lied, and then changed their minds, and their story! Oh, wait…that is common knowledge, not breaking news. Neither is it a surprise. In the continuing Benghazi investigation, the Pentagon has made Col. George Bristol, USMC, available for questioning by congressional members investigating what happened in Benghazi, Libya on 09/11/2012. Initially, the Pentagon had officially told members of congress and the media that Col. Bristol could not testify on Benghazi because he was retired. It turns out that he was not retired at the time, however. As a matter of fact, according to reports from the Marine Corps Times and Military Times, Col. Bristol is on active-duty through the month of July, 2013. Col. Bristol stepped down in a ceremony from his command in March of 2013, but is still technically on active-duty.
