You all may recall Indy - he was the tiny Boston with the huge Osteo Sarcoma on the side of his face. Unfortunately, it was not operable because it was also attached to his skull. Today was his last vet visit because the sarcoma had gotten so large it was coming through his skin. I held him in my arms as he drifted off to his first peaceful sleep since he got cancer. I knew in my mind it was the right thing to do for him, but my heart feels his loss like a deep, painful stab. I had to have help unlocking my car through my tears as I carried him out to his little bed in the car. Then, I had to wait a few minutes before I could see clearly enough to drive. When I finally started the engine - there was Indy telling me it was okay - the radio was playing In The Arms Of An Angel I love you little man and I will miss you.........
