You all should follow Kevin Rooses lead. Cleaning up Facebook makes your feed DRAMATICALLY better. Some things Id add: 1. Unfollow brands you dont really care about seeing on your feed. 2. Put EVERY friend into either the close friend or acquaintance list (takes some work, but definitely worth it). 3. Make sure your family feed is up to date (if you click on lists/feeds youll see more items from those people). 4. The feed learns from your behavior over time. So be careful about what you like or comment on. Those behaviors change what Facebook will show you. 5. Turn on location features on Facebook -- they help Facebook bring interesting information from close to you to you. Yes, it takes a few hours, particularly if you have thousands of friends, but it is well worth it as Kevin explains.
