You always hear about craigslist horror stories, but let me tell you about an amazing one. So I just moved to Nashville on thursday, and I was in need of a washer and dryer. I thought about purchasing new, however on my long list of to-dos I decided to go the craigslist route. My dad and husband went to pick up the washer and dryer that I found for a steal from a local guy. My husband mentioned he was new in town, and the seller mentioned he ran a BBQ called Corkys. He invited us to come there for dinner last night. After a long day of unpacking, and nothing in my fridge, we took up the offer and went. As soon as we sat down the guy came up to us and told us we didnt need menus. He started bringing out a plethora of sampler platters of super tasty BBQ. It was enough for us to take home for lunch! Not only was it delicious, but he didnt charge us a dime. He gave us vouchers and were invited to come back again and use them. I am amazed at the generosity in this town. We have been welcomed with open arms and love our new little community. :) If you are visiting Nashville, make sure to stop by @CorkysBrentwood we will definitely be back!
