Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango told us today that police had opened up a case file against Old Kampala police station DPC, Jorum Mwesigye for assaulting a WBS journalist, Andrew Lwanga and Joseph Ssetimba who works with Bukedde TV. “We don’t condemn the journalists in any way, they were exercising their duty and the office was also supposed to lawfully exercise his duty,” Onyango said.
