You are cheaters!!! Well, thats what the man currently in 1st place of the Mens Health Magazine Cover Contest called us. (Why? Because we are #2 of course: mhguysearch/entry/720) While we remained silent in honor of Memorial Day, and I paid my homage to my father and grandfathers service and sacrifices, I asked you to please suspend our voting in the contest. Our good opponent chose to use that time of silence to launch a smear campaign to discredit us and our incredibly explosive rise to #2 Challenger, and also a voting frenzy to try and capitalize on the time we were restraining ourselves from competing in the contest to honor the memory of those who have fallen and the families theyve left behind. I realize Ive written in the past that I wouldnt mind losing to this individual because he had a worthy story to tell about his HIV+ survival. But quite honestly, when someone acts as childishly as this individual, I dont mind them being forced to confront their immaturity. Our society deserves better than more of the same: more petty prima donna drama, more hair pulled, name-calling and more tender-ego sour grapes. So, I refuse to participate in our opponents tactics. I truly hope that he gets exactly what he needs to grow... but I suspect that is losing. :P I hope you will help me share my story and help me donate 100% of the winnings of this cover contest to my charity to help kids who are facing learning difficulties, so that they realize their inherent genius regardless of what authorities and bullies who cant handle our shining brightly, who continually try to suppress our elevation, and who will desperately struggle to undermine our success with little-minded juvenilism!
