As a child she was chosen by the “Wild Forest Shaman,” a spirit who singles out children he can make into shamans to “heal the people” and teaches them drumming and mantras. After that her grandfather, shaman of her home village of Okaldhunga, Nepal, trained her in the shamanic traditions of her ancestors. · She has continued to heal the people for more than fifty years, most recently as a shaman on the faculty of the Shamanistic Studies & Research Centre of Kathmandu Nepal, and has traveled extensively in Europe, including Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, as well as Greenland where she was invited by the Inuit people to join others of the world’s most powerful shamans in helping fulfill the prophesies of their people.
