You are invited to join us to celebrate Women’s Equality Day Vigil at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City at a special prayer vigil marking Women’s Equality Day. For those who are not in the immediate area the vigil will be broadcast live on our UStream Channel ustream.tv/channel/katrina-s-dream. It may also be viewed later at your convinence. Two Oklahoma state senators, Al McAffrey and Constance Johnson, both of Oklahoma City, will speak at the vigil. McAffrey is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014 and Johnson is seeking the Democratic nomination for election to the U.S. Senate. The cathedral’s dean, the Very Rev. Justin Alan Lindstrom, will preach at the vigil, while the officiant will be the Rev. Canon Susan Joplin of the cathedral staff. Reader of the gospel will be Margaret Cox.
