You are loved! God is looking for men on whom He can put the weight of all His love and power and faithful promises (Genesis 18:19 - I know him, that he will command his children.) Daily Bible study for November 13, 2013 Dear Lord God our Father, we thank You for clearing up for us the call on our lives. Father, You call us and we mess up. You pick us up and encourage us and empower us and equip us to fulfill Your calling upon our lives. You do so because You know of what You can make us capable of. The power of our calling is not in how dramatic the circumstances are that surround it but it is in the determination with which re respond. Father God - we say, YES, LORD! and trust You to work Your call out in us. Father, we prayerfully subject our hopes and dreams to Your will and You transform our desires to reflect Yours. You in turn take responsibility for us, Your children, and put our goals within reach. You give us all the good things our God-shaped heart wants. Thank You, Father God - we cant lose when You are directing our hearts and our steps for Your praise and glory and the good of Your Kingdom. We shout for joy which echos throughout all our lives (Psalms 95:1). Father, Your Word in Isaiah 25:6-9 tells us that: The LORD of HOSTS will make for all people a feast .... and He will destroy ... the shroud that is cast over all peoples ... and He will swallow up death forever. Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces, and the disgrace of his people He will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken. It will be said on that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, so that He might save us ... Let us be glad and rejoice in His Salvation. Lord God, help us to use our gifts and callings for Your glory and the good of Your Kingdom until THAT DAY! Thank You. JESUS IS LORD! Lord God, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and its people Israel, who along with us await THAT DAY with hope and anticipation when Your Glory will overtake the whole earth and the people in it. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that JESUS CHRIST THE MESSIAH IS LORD! We bow before You and honor You, LORD GOD THE ALMIGHTY Who has promised and Who keeps His Words of Promise. AMEN! HALLELUJAH! Father God as we pray for the next generation, we see sadness in some of these young people who have suffered the brunt end of injustice. Their families are being attacked and imprisoned with harsh sentences for some and easier sentences for others. Have mercy on those who walk in Your ways and try to live a life of caring for others and respecting family as You intended and end up tossed to despair for things they had no control over. Have mercy for the young people who seek Your face and walk in Your ways. We pray on their behalf that they receive restoration of things that the devil has stolen from them. Free them, Father, from devastation, lest the root of bitterness sprout up in their lives - have mercy, O God (Acts 3:20-21). May they receive restoration in their lives in the land of the living for Your praise and glory and the good of Your Kingdom. Thank You, Father God, JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OVER THIS NEXT GENERATION - we bow our knees to You today for the end result of restoration in the Body of Christ in this generation so that they will KNOW that with You involved, their lives get better and better, not harsher and harsher. JESUS IS LORD AND SATAN IS A LIAR! Lord God our Father, we have so much to be thankful for as we pray the prayers of our hearts for ourselves and our own children and family members. We pray also the prayers for those Your Holy Spirit puts before us to pray for. As the devastation of storms keep killing and stealing from helpless children and families around the world, we stand and feel helpless to stop the violent storms. Our hearts rise up to help in material goods which will never suffice to care for the multitudes who have been devastated by violence of storms and suffered loss of loved ones. There are no words of comfort which we could speak in our human weaknesses. Have mercy on those who are grieving the losses they have suffered at the hand of violent storms or any other violence, especially of death and separation from loved ones. Father God, we pray in Jesus Holy and Mighty Name and long to hear Your voice from heaven commanding violence to cease and storms to be still. We thank You, Lord God that You have heard us as we worship You, LORD, with gladness and come before You with joyful songs (Psalms 100:2), as You take grieving, sighing and mourning away and dry our tears. Father, when You quiet our spirits we not only do Your will, but also delight in doing Your will. You, LORD GOD, tell us to not only serve You, but to serve You with gladness of heart. The quietness you put into our spirit is the fruit of a life that has laid down its own way at the foot of the cross and has come into the freedom of walking with complete trust in You, LORD GOD. Thank You for all Your provisions, for our nation and all a nation like America stands for as long as You make the decisions on our behalf, which we pray for in Jesus Holy and Mighty Name. JESUS IS LORD OVER THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND ITS PEOPLE. Amen. Romans 12:17-19 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible. Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God. Truth and righteousness protect us during times of uncertainty and strife. Promise - Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
