You are not a journalist because you say you conducted journalistic inquiries. You have a blog. Congrats. You know who else has a blog? Me. Oh yeah, I also have a degree in English (like that makes any difference whatsoever, I know people with no college experience who can write circles around me, and therefore, you). I dont even update it anymore cuz I have no time and do ACTUAL journalism for publications around Boston and the country (yeah, sweet resume by the way). I also know that most people I associate with in the music scene in Boston (not your dumb little Pumpkin festivals) couldnt give two shits about who writes about them. Dont go complaining about how you didnt get invited to the party when you make no effort to befriend a few people who may be heading by later. Dont go asking that a list of new people to harass (thats what youve been doing) be released. If you dont like the BMAs because theyre not a wide enough representation of the Boston music community well then congratulations, you at least have some small modicum of common sense and are basically repeating what EVERYONE has been saying about them since they started. Tough titties. Your fun little open letters on your stupid site that gets barely any pageviews (I did my research, aka, something a REAL journalist does) do nothing. Congrats on having a fun little personal blog that you can spout your nonsense. Also IF you wanted to consider yourself a real journalist you wouldve found out that one of the blogs that you claim is internationally owned started out as a blogspot page that was a side hobby for its editor-in-chief. It looks as good as it does now because that same guy had ambition, and a love of music, and skill, and an actual plan of expansion. Congrats Bill Copeland. You are real dumb.
