Interesting day today. I was on an off ramp on 18/151 when my brakes failed in my car. My angels were looking out for me as I downshifted and then grabbed my emergency brake and turned into a ditch to finally stop. This could have been so much worse. I wasnt hurt at all, but I was rattled emotionally for sure. I can say that being that out of control was the most frightening thing in my life that Ive ever experienced, And again, my perspective is that I am fine, my car wasnt even damaged, and when I waited for the tow truck it was bright and sunny and I stayed warm watching some birds of prey catch their lunch. Im feeling quite a bit of gratitude now for that ol Canadian drivers ed that taught me what to do in case of such an emergency. Thanks, eh!
