You can increase the anointing in your life by: 1. Association with people that carry the same anointing or purpose. It is also true that the devil may use this against you by sending you the wrong people. it is up to you to resist beings swallowed by negative associations. 2. Laying on of hands. This has been mistaken as an automatic transferrence of what people have. It will not work, if you do not work on your own renewal of the mind and change your attitude. It does not help me laying hands on you and you continue to sleep with boy-friend or girl-f outside of marriage and expect you to have what I have. Did you know that if you leave your ministry well and have the pastor pray for you in the presence of other brethren and lay hands on you is a blessing on its own and opens the flood gates of heaven upon you? 3. Fasting and prayer. Jesus told His disciples that there are some demons that can only be cast after fasting and prayer. The disciples thought that just because they were with Jesus they could do everything, Prayer, fasting and faith are still important. 4. Praise and worship. The more you focus on the presence of God, the less the demon activity and thoughts. One cannot be born again and be demon possessed. Maybe demon oppressed, yes; but not possessed. Demon oppression can only be prevalent where the presence of God is not acknowledged. remember He is YHWH Shammah (the ever present One). When you start prayer by saying Lord I come into Your presence.....; the question that I will ask you is From whose presence are you coming from if you only coming into His presence now? 5. Unity. It is so funny how other people still believe that all they need is their money and they are okay. Really? What does Psalm 133 say about unity and blessings/anointing? 6. Humility. The woman with the issue of blood did not go to Jesus shoulder to tap Him and ask to be healed. She reached for the helm. A sign of humility. Is it funny that when people go to places they want to choose the front and best seats? I tell you, sit at the back, if you deserve to be given a front table, they will come and fetch you.
