You cannot control the future, but you can guide and control the direction of your future. Your future is full of opportunities and possibilities. It is yours to create, to enjoy or to suffer. You can build up or breakdown your future – you may rise or fall dependingon how much you are committed to and prepared for your future. You must take a real interest in your future. Your future is not in your hands, if you do not hold it With your heart. You may not get everything you want in the future, but you may get a lot if you are determined and well-prepared. Nobody can compel you to settle for a lousy futurewithout your consent. If you do not try, you will never find out what is possible for your future. Education and knowledge– without a positive character – do not guarantee a better future. If you have a positive character, you are more equipped to guide and control your future. To discipline and improveyour character is to ensure a a better future, and to pamper your character is to invite a bleak future. If you have a positive character, you are likely to believe in work ethic, responsibility, self-esteem, commitment and perseverance – whichare the foundation of a good future. If you are victimized by a negative character, which is characterized by laziness, irresponsibility, low self-esteem, irresolution and wavering,you will lose control of your future. If you are a prudent, self-restrained and emotionally disciplined individual, you will be able to control your future in a better way. If you are a reckless, unrestrained and emotionally impulsive person, you are more likely to lose your future. If you are able to keep changing yourself to face new difficulties and obstacles, you are likely to create a successful future. If you work hard, make good choices and excellent decisions, and do what you can do best, you are likely to be rewarded with a lucky future. If you count your future on luck and chance, you are likely to be unhappily disappointed. If you waste your time, you waste yourself and your future, and you are likely to have an unhappy future. If you have no mind about your future, it is likely to run wild and become uncontrollable.
